The AAPM Annual Meeting & Exhibition held in July draws about 4,000 participants to the world’s largest program of scientific, educational and professional presentations plus technical exhibits and social programs that targets the medical physics community specifically.
This year, the Carson-Zagzebski Distinguished Lectureship will be given on Wenesday 15th July by Dr. Mickael Tanter, PhD, from the Institut Langevin, École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de la Ville de Paris. The lecture will provide an overview regarding ultrafast ultrasound imaging-current applications and changes to the future paradigm of diagnostic imaging and real time guidance of therapy/intervention. In particular, he will discuss the emergence of fUltrasound as a new neuroimaging technique for both neuroradiology and fundamental neuroscience research.
This distinguished lecture at the world’s largest symposium of physicists in medicine is again an international recognition of our research team.
